The remembrance tree

The remembrance tree

A Poem by outspoken1234
"

Walk in my memory not in sadness and not in my shadow

"
Every Nicu family who walked
Had a propose for being there
Those who lost a Nicu baby got white pearls
A representation of a memory not forgotten
At the end of the walk they hang the pearls on the tree
There the child's name will be
Not blown away by wind or rain
Untouched by time
It is something time can not heal
Touched by love
Everyone supports each other
Non turn their backs
The remembrance tree is to honor
To represent the fight the little ones gave
Its a memory we are all going to carry
Everyone who hung the pearls on the tree
This is our remembrance tree
