One Strawberry

One Strawberry

A Poem by Harrison_Ozwald

We talked about things, this and that,
the rain began to fall with a loud pitter-pat

Then all the sudden you touched my face,
and I drifted off to a far-away place

Heavy clouds gathered, the sky was dark,
the rain the only sound louder than your swift beating heart

We then held each other in warm embrace,
my face, oh so close to your precious princess face

Your heart was quick, yet mine was more fast,
I wished for that moment to last and last and last

One strawberry on your cake, not enough, I know,
next time to a better bakery I shall go
