Moving (A title in transition)

Moving (A title in transition)

A Poem by Britteny
"

Some random ramblings tonight, flexing some muscles.

"
moving
selling bits and pieces
pieces of you
to say
I lay my head
where you once lay yours
eats at memories inside
chlorine
skinny as bones
greasy pizza
prom hair
rejection
run like an expired
shopping list
in my mind
now since replaced
with adult things
mundane things
soap
dog food
craft beer
my how we have grown
if not shifted
but not for the worse
it has been an honor
to grow along side you
through random statuses
a major change here
an acceptance of a job
relationship there
even if in different directions
an observations in the most
distant ways
but I still wish you well
