Sweet and soft

Sweet and soft

A Poem by Alexis L. Thompson

Baby, sing to me.
Envelope me in your ring of smoke.
Get me high on your love
and touch me,
sweet
and
soft.

Baby, whisper to me.
Tickle me with red, velvet petals.
wrap me in your leaves.
You are a rose,
sweet
and
soft.

Baby, come to me.
Kiss me gentle in the dark.
Tastes like chocolate,
sweet
and
soft.

Baby, I am here.
I will always be here for you.
I am yours,
sweet
and
soft.

I do sense the passionate relationship you speak about. These lines are
quite sensory and dramatic. (I never say mature with young poets because
I am not the one to comment on ones emotional status). Your other work
The Monster had theme but little response. This poem had both theme
and response. You should work on your stimuli and browden your focus.
This is good stuff, functioning on a lot of levels with memorable expressions..hder
