What A Heart I Own

Just a poem I felt like writing... Whatevs :) This happened to me a while ago

 I  saw him today

From across the room

Hearts flutter,

Thoughts stop

But he only looked once.

Did he feel it? I can't tell.

Did he care that I was there,

across the room, gazing?

He'll probably still say he's in love with her,

It's just his classic trademark

Even if he did love me

He'd want to make me jealous

He thinks I love him

And guess what? I probably do

But that can't matter now

Because my heart also belongs to another

 

Split in two, what a heart I own
