Fake Happiness

Exactly what the title says :) Fake happiness

When that feeling comes over you

Helpless, Love-hungry

What more can you do

Than to plaster a smile onto your face

Attempt to- not fill - but cover

The emptiness inside

The aching, hollowing hole

That feels like it's burning

And leaving a scar within your heart

The people around you are thinking,

"Wow she seems happy. I wonder how

she got to be that happy?"

Of course they don't know.

All you need is some plaster,

And a smile.
