this reunion's going nowhere

this reunion's going nowhere

A Poem by We May Well Be The Ones

 who left the light on?
cause now I see your ghost
the lashings from your tongue
the pain from your throat

who left my bed warm?
I'm used to the cold
the friction from your touch
just memories of old

what a darkened stain I wear on my head now
it's like my pours are sweating blood but I can't go down
I can feel your breath, it welts my peaceful tune
with all that you have done I can't get rid of you

who put my clothes on?
cause they don't smell like me
every hole and tatter
refuses to speak

who's in my reflection
these eyes aren't my eyes
sure they see a young man
but blister with lies

what a darkened stain I wear on my head now
it's like my pours are sweating blood but I can't go down
I can feel your breath, it welts my peaceful tune
with all that you have done I can't get rid of you

who left the light on?
I see your ghost.
