what secrets

what secrets

A Poem by paul

what secrets
do the buildings hide

what do they do?
when noones looking

how they grow
inch by inch

in silence.

. ah, what an in depth poetic expression of height and depth ... how do you do this ? ... how can you say it in such few words ... oh how, oh how, oh how ... we are like buildings ... we immerse ourselves in our own pain when no one's looking ... and then we start becoming taller and taller ... (am still stumped by how you wrote about something we've all noticed - the feeling of buildings seeming taller) ... the salient feature of buildings is being silent ... and it's not that no one's looking ... everyone's looking for something ... but, unlike you, they don't notice the most imposing structure around them ... buildings, yes, buildings, we don't even notice them ... not until you show us ... awesome work, coach ...
