raindrops

raindrops

A Poem by paul

tonite the raindrops
mimic words

dying to be heard

tonight the sky
tells a brand new lie.

tonight the sky
is on the run

not to be outdone
the wind

runs too.

Nice! I can see, feel, and hear it all! Love the wind running...too.

Wonderful sensations from a short poem.

- maybe it runs far enough - to outrun itself - who knows - where the wind goes! -

I see an angry thunderstorm... and wish I was standing in the middle of it.

Your writing sometimes reminds me of The Wheel of Time series, by Robert Jordan. Fantastic books, if you like fantasy.

"not to be outdone
the wind

runs too."

Great lines.

yeah

tonight leaves don't tremble
they mourn
tonight trees don't grumble
they churn
and as their roots talk to the depths of the earth
in silence
we listen
to the silence
that we have unearthed
