A Poem by paul

at nighttime the sky
the moon
and the sea

pretend
that they don't know me

they pretend
they pretend

it's a ruse. they want you some night to walk out that moonpath lying there on the top of the water, and come for a visit. mooncakes and philosophy till morning.

I have to say, I enjoy the simplistic raw energy of your writing, I find myslef breathing along with the wording as if it were alien, whaling of course due to your imagery, it is, well done.

Haunting, particularly the repetition on the closing stanza.

This is great. I'm, a big fan of many images/few words.
