madness in

madness in

A Poem by paul

beach waiting
for waves

to orchestrate

like a sand grain
or a star

and out at night
and in the day

madness always
in the way

of what lies

beneath the sea.

madness in
my veins at night

and  in the day there's
too much light

madness in the night.

leaves me with deep curiosity inquisitiveness to discover what it is lurking behind the scenes

the lines are stripped bare so that the feeling shines through, well done, good read

ah, if ever such a discomfort could be described as more intrinsic and inextricable, i would submit great praise. this encompasses more than is expressible, i believe.

well, f**k. and I thought you couldn't get any more brilliant.
"madness in my veins at night and in the day there's too much light"
to quote the weepies: "just got lost, slept right through the dawn; and the world spins madly on."

I still defer to Emily Dickinson who stated so succinctly:

Much Madness is Divinest Sense

just as a side note I took a peek at an online test for diagnosing schizophrenia the other day . . . I'm still trying to sort that mess out in my head, I think I prefer the madness
