A Poem by peacefrog

A flush of crimson

as I made her sight.

Rudimentary movements,

bird in flight.

Leapt into the shadows,

doe on barren black ice,

eluding unknown prey,

maze encumbered with mice.

Retreat to one’s familiar,

Claws dug deep.

Marbles white shine in dark,,

Owl cradled in keep.

A reach of need,

a plea so pure.

Fingers grasp tight,

Around what’s held dear.

Yeah, it's really a boy after a girl. Nicely written. We expect such more from you.
