Focal Point

Focal Point

A Poem by Rc R. Vagilidad
"

The evolution of cameras... from function to use... it's legend is undeniable.

"

In the blueprints of Galileo

A tube of substance devotee to sight

Molded in pure concave...

and of untainted sin.

It incubated the riveted ride of Pirates,

Set sailed their date with destiny

On the sea vastly proportioned

Horizon and unseen foreboding.

Heard along the cliffs of sedation

There they stood naked,

The songs of the Sirens,

Allured by lust of such view.

Charismatic delight for Men,

Seen from a distance

With weapons and a telescope

And berth they prepared

A kilometer from the land

They sunken in the depths

Men lingered soulless in dead shore...

I liked this. How interesting to write about cameras. I liked what you had to say. I think the last line is the most powerful. It made me stop and think. Great work!
