Short Term Tenancy Agreement

The word according to me..

When God leased the world to man

God laid out the terms and conditions

Man, excited at the prospect of living on Earth

Didn’t read them and just signed at the bottom

God gave man the planet

Man was pleased and took good care of the Earth

He lived off its fertile land and prospered

Then approximately 10,000 years ago

Man forgot that he has signed a tenancy agreement with God

He decided to change a few things

He levied trees and cleared the land to built cities

He manipulated the rivers and built dams

He produced his own power at the expenses of Earth resources

He fashioned things that were not bio degradable Man Made Things

God didn’t intervene, God watched and waited

Man continued to change the Earth and the more Man Made Things

The more the planet suffered, the ozone layer was damaged, the polar caps

Began to melt, while fertile land was ravaged by drought creating deserts

Man blamed God for not keeping the place up to standards

God didn’t intervene, God watched and waited

Man forgot that the Earth was not his planet because God had not been a ‘hands on landlord’; Man forgot that God even existed and began to treat the Earth as his own

Man also forgot that he was only a tenant and that the tenancy was a short term let

God waited no longer, God came to man and asked him what he thought he was doing?

Man told God that the Earth was his planet.

God smiled and showed him the short term tenancy agreement and the signed terms and conditions. Man read them. Man realised that he had broken all of the terms and conditions. Man didn’t smile.

God told man that he wanted the Earth put back to its original state otherwise he would issue man with an Eviction Notice under section 8 of the Supreme Transcendent Law of  Almighty God

God has given man until December 21^st 2012 to clean up the place

Man went away and made a few small token changes but continued to live on Earth as he had done for 10,000 years

God is coming back soon to evict Man

God has realised that Man is no better than those bloody dinosaurs

Man didn’t realise that the dinosaurs rented Earth before them

And look what happen to the dinosaurs….

Man is in for a big shock.

I don't feel like this flows like a poem. It's more like a story.

If you are going to keep it as a poem, you should break up the stanzas instead of them all being in one big stanza.

Every time that you have a new line whether it's in the middle of a sentence or not, you should capitalize the begininning letter.

Other than that, it's pretty good. I agree with your overall statement/theme. Very well thought out. :)
