A Poem by Michael Turnbull

daylight comes

and with it

all of earth's beautiful colors

i am alive in it

i see

their happy faces

glowing red cheeks

bright rainbow eyes

trusting in their faith

the icy blue sky

beckoning

cotton ball clouds

commuter jet trails

and hot air balloons

lush green

trees, shrubs, grasses

harbouring the planets

little brown creatures

but my digression

ends

returning to that

pale one in black

draped in sorrows shadow.

Wonderful imagery. Your style is similar to mine in some ways. I love it!
