Distract Me Please

Distract Me Please

A Poem by PoemsbyPatrick

My mind it so envelopes,
In total concentration,
The topic of my study,
I oft need some dissuasion.

Distract me please,
Tease me,
Please me please,
And bring me back to the reality which is you.

To use my thought in honest toil,
Is both noble and satisfying,
But work alone does dull the joy,
Of living life complete.

Distract me please,
Hug and kiss me,
Please allow me to please,
And bring me back to the joy which is you.

If life would let me lose my soul,
In solitary pursuit,
While thought and pondering do call,
The one I'd choose is you.

Distract me please,
Envelope me,
Bring pleasure to us both,
And lose me in the vastness of fully loving you.

those distractions in life are the moments we tend to yearn for, after some time. pity life can't remain like the first few weeks with a new lover. well done, poet.
