Traces

Traces

A Poem by poet2angels (lynda)

His gentle fingers

find the blush
within her cheeks

eyes resistant
to meet his gaze
fearing he will feel

her heart

hesitant to flutter
her body, poetry
in his hands

as petals blossom
flower, pulsating passion;
their love

sprinkled in dewdrops
mingled
upon silken palette

passion's portrait
traced in the sand.

You really have a way with words.

I loved this one as well

as petals blossom
flower, pulsating passion;
their love

sprinkled in dewdrops
mingled
upon silken palette

passion's portrait
traced in the sand.

Well done!

This poem just sounds so...soft and touching. The way you write, it's like taking one moment and pausing it, stretching it out to analyze and explain it. Once again, beautiful and moving, I love it.
