Delicate, Still...

Delicate, Still...

A Poem by poet2angels (lynda)
"

my daughter's hands

"

Tiny fingers in my palm
slipped away as petals fell

now nurturing your own
with those same beautiful hands
one now tattooed of Sunflower

and delicate, still.

I look at my hands very often. I grieve for the lost grace, I know I should be proud of the character, of the strength these hands have earned through the years. Thank you for letting me know that I will see those hands again when my daughters get a little older. . .
