A PRAYER FOR THE NEW PRINCE

I have written this Prayer and am sending it to The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in London, England in honor of their newborn son: Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge. July 22, 2013

To the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

We offer this prime sincere Princely Prayer;

Bless, O Lord His Royal Highness Kingly child

May your grace and mercy meet him everywhere.

Bless His Highness' hands to become a Blessing

To the weary masses of this hurting world;

Bless his dear feet to follow Peace---

As his country's great banners are unfurled.

Bless his Kingly heart to honor fresh Freedoms

Bless his awesome eyes to follow suit;

Bless his honest lips to encourage others

As World Peace he perennially pursues.

Bless, O Lord this outstanding Royal Family

Keep them always close unto Thee---

May Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge

Thy faithful, bountiful Blessings forever see.

I wrote a similar poem for their Royal Wedding in 2011 and treasure the response they sent me including an official copy of their Wedding Invitation and photo. I did this for Prince Charles as well. It is a hobby of mine that I enjoy.

The "Royals" have always been of interest to me as a student of genealogy, and the rich heritage they embrace as part of their long line of leadership! Many have died to guarantee one of their line would still maintain rule of their country!

This precious new child is indeed a blessing for the family, and for the country! Though many of those believe The Royals are no longer relevant in today's society, I think they are, and appreciate them for who they are, who they have been, and who they shall be!

Your prayer of tribute is written with elegance and polish! I applaud you for such a fine summation of congratulations for this grand Prince!! LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!! (And, the Prince!)

I know you have great intentions with this poem and it is well written. I am against all the coverage the royal family is getting... making it a headline story when more pressing issues should be discussed. There are kids born into poverty and homeless everyday and we never hear a word about them. The baby prince is no better than them even though the media tries to brain wash us to believe otherwise.
