Black Passion

Black Passion

A Poem by Poetic Beauty
"

This is a love poem with a paranormal tone

"
Black lace falls to the floor
As blood glides down her neck
Passion opening a new door
As two bodies intersect

Gloomy hours have long passed
As her immortal lover holds her close
A binding that will always last
But appears ominous to most

Her vampire will always be
Near when she needs his touch
In his world she'll never decease
The wild passion, her life clutch.

Very nice. Dark love poems are wonderful to read and you definitely brought that concept through clearly through the use of a vampire. It actually reminded me of True Blood in the perspective of Suki Stackhouse. Except your female character is much more sensual and darker than that.

I especially love the opening lines of Black lace and blood gliding. It's almost as though everything that covers her and hides her passions is falling away from her body and soul and she's opening herself to the darker sides of passion.

The ending, however, didn't seem to quite live up to the beginning. It just seemed, no offense, dull in comparison.

But overall, very nice poem, very good writing!

Amazing. Dark, a little sick, and very passionate.

Black lace is perfect, of course...to set the tone. And the blood "glides." down just after the lace falls, kind of like the inhibitions "fall to the floor." This, and words like "clutch" are what create the passion for me in this poem. It really opens the door to "darker possibilities."

Nice! I like the new ending, definitely added the good kind of spice that keeps to the darker tones of the poem! Very good work!
