Eccentric Winds

Eccentric Winds

A Poem by Poetic Beauty
"

this poem is very metaphorical.

"

Love’s sizzle has evaporated

The desert passion has disappeared

Leaving the heart blistered and seared

Flowers withered without a drink

Mind cracked, sanity on the brink

Life rearranging with a lost love

As winds of distortion blow dust

Veiling perception with metallic rust

An ice conversion petrifies the fire

Destroying its pulsing beat of desire

Delusions of the blissful past run deep

As Ardent memories creep into dreams

Causing agonizing teardrop streams

That lead to stagnate pools of scarlet red

With agony a gray moss covered bed

Then a thin sliver of light appears

Intoxicating winds begin to blow

Intrigued with flames of fire show

Drawn to silver disfigured moonlight

Fascination of words blind ones sight

Heart pulsing inside the once silent chest

Whirlwind of emotions storm the brain

As violet hearts poured down like rain

Cleansing the sorrowful onyx soul

Cementing the black miasmic hole

Allowing the mind to find release

A symphonic wind sounds its unique beat

Creating an artistic flame of heat

Vivid imagery plays in the mind

Eccentric painting has been designed

You have used an interesting rhyme scheme in this poem - it gives a great sense of wholeness to the structure. The metaphor runs deep. Fave stanza:

Heart pulsing inside the once silent chest
Whirlwind of emotions storm the brain
As violet hearts poured down like rain
Cleansing the sorrowful onyx soul
Cementing the black miasmic hole

this piece flowed chaotic winds into a logical order of understanding; passion grows and withers quickly while the memory lasts forever.

Hauntingly beautifl piece you have written here, the flow and rythym of this work captivated me. "Facination of words blinds ones sight" is simply inspired. Felt like I was camping in the desert haunted by times gone by.

For me read as a story about coming back to being alive after a long painful spell trapped in darkness. The imagery in this is outstanding as the whole poem is. I really enjoyed reading this, it was a fantastic journey all on its own!

A whirlwind of emotions at play that crescendo into a beautiful masterpiece depicting what incredible imagery the eccentric (also called creative) mind creates.
