Struggler

Okay, here's where my work starts to get more serious. One of my best friends at the time was having a lot of personal issues, so one day on the bus I was inspired to write this about her.

You may think you're very tough,
You've cussed at me when times were rough
How big is your mental scar,
Are you defying who you are
You are a struggler
Not unlike any other
You are trying to stand very tall
when in truth you are feeling very small
And not like any other
you are a struggler
