Intact

Intact

A Poem by Fuego31
"

Written 10/6/14. I was in a house full of guys that made me feel completely comfortable with myself, and it was a really refreshing experience...they were like me.

"
For once I felt it
That comfort in my own skin
It was a welcome sensation
from the place I was in

They knew me
And I knew them
There was no hiding
I didn't feel like mortal sin

I felt like I was
Exactly who I am
An example of flaw
An example of man

I love who I love
It's just me
I am my own seedling
from my family tree

I felt natural
I felt okay
I'm living my own life
In my own unique way

That  sense of comfort
Acceptance so pure
Sometime I must go back
I'm yearning for more

That welcome knowing
Not needing an act
for the first time in a long time
I felt intact

They were my own kind
They were like me
I felt less complicated
for once I could just be

About
Sometimes I just write on random imagination and thoughts, but I mostly write what's inspired by my strongest emotion at that given moment. I've been been writing since I was 13 and I'm currently 24. .. more..
