How do I explain my love for you?

How do I put it into words?

Words require understanding

And I barely understand this

Seeing my friends brings me joy

But the sight of you

In screen or in person

Makes my heart leap

Knowing how you feel about me

Brings tears to my eyes

No other human on earth

Has given me this feeling

I feel blessed by God every day

Because He put us together

He gave me a soulmate

He showed and gave me love

My heart has never felt so warm

My soul has never felt so complete

Your presence gives me butterflies

I've never felt so confident

To hold your hand

To hug you

To kiss you

I never want to let you go

When we're apart

It's like a piece of me is missing

I'm desperate to get it back

And always have you with me

I fell in love with your quirks

I'm endeared by your flaws

I see them as part of you

And I want you to be you

Your blushing grin

I cause them just to see them

They light up my world

When our skin touches

Any vulnerability with you

Feels like protection from the world

I feel no need to hide from you

I love you

Deeper than human emotions go
