Talking Flowers

The flowers can talk

Oh yes, they do

Only the people who know the language of the flowers seem to understand

Each one has a way of speaking

one different from the other

The roses howl and growl

Waiting to bite anyone who touches them

Lavender snores and slumbers in its bed

Sunflowers chatter and smile at each other

And talk about where the sun is in the sky

or if they saw it move or not

Bluebells team up with the trumpet creepers to compose songs and play them

Lillie's whisper in a shy voice among themselves

Cobaeas' gossip with the daisies

While the peonies flaunt their beauty and listen to the dandelion’s stories about their travels and the wishes they made come true

The garden was full of a symphony of voices ones of diverse expressions and sounds

Every flower was heard, and they talked each having something to share whether it was important or not
