An Ode to Hopeless Romantics

Dedicated to those die-hard romantics who believe no matter how bad the situation, good times are round the corner.

How hopeless thy cause O' romantic one,  
Meandering endlessly for that spot of glory,  
Under the unforgiving Sun.  
  
Thine countenance glowing as slowly comes undone,  
All carefully laid plans, 
That affirmative thoughts had spun.  
  
No twists of fate does seem to fill,  
Dark feelings of angst,  
In your shiny will.  
  
Nor adversity slows you down,  
Or spoil your day,  
With its beastly frown.  
  
In vigour still do you march on,  
Lightness in tread, 
From burden shorn.  
  
Smitten by your charming lore,  
Chasing your earnest steps,  
Does swell your ranks by one more.

i like it, i just can't relate but then the lines sounds great, i understand a bit. But don't mind me maybe it's my problem. Keep writing.

[Poetic Nuance]

Poem is about the positive attitude of the die-hard romantics who always try to see a silver lining in the darkest of clouds & do not let adversity weigh them down. In the end, I too join the ranks as a die-hard romantic myself. :)
