The Sight of an Owl

The Sight of an Owl

A Poem by Poetic Nuance

Oh, beautiful bird of the night!
What do you see, what do you see?
Can you peep into the hearts of men,
And view their gloom and glee?

Perched up high upon the tree,
Eyes trained on the ground below,
Is it only movement that you see,
Or see humanity in throe?

Head bobbing & weaving in Motion Parallax,
How deep can you really go?
Looking straight ahead and hooting,
Are you mocking at the show?

Motion Parallax is for better depth perception in the dark which Owls do by bobbing & weaving their heads

I believe the owl is mocking at the show. Nice photo and thoughts. I wondered often what animals would think of man craziness? A very entertaining and thoughts provoking poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
