Chastity

Chastity

A Poem by prema

                               Chastity
A seed cracked and sprung out a seedling
It has to grow without any nurturing
No one cared or loved
Whatever earth and sky offered
As food and water it satiated its needs

The neighboring Tree was planted
With the sapling brought from the nursery
Hands that planted were loving and caring
It even made a drain from the other to bring in more food

Both grew
Both flowered

The nurtured Tree bore rich cultured flowers
Whereas
The uncared Tree bore chaste natural flowers

Nature against all odds
Will exhibit its true nature
