Holiday from life

Holiday from life

A Poem by prema

                                      Holiday from Life (Introspection)
Once I took a journey inward
To see what is known and yet unknown
With time as aid, the feat I took
For I had to answer  me a lot.

Though for no fault of mine
Had to live the life of another
Did I resist  then and there?
Hence this journey, a holiday from daily chaos

Each and everyday I travelled that far
To reach a certain destination
Along the way I could meet All
The body, mind, intellect, memory and ego
But yet to meet the self.
  .........
I am the witness to this phenomena of universe
Also to my own thoughts and deeds
Yet no say in unfolding the events
Being  the witness,  the truth is known to me.
........
That spiritual journey down the lane
Each and everyday thus mattered
An interval from the grind of life
Oh  what a state I was in!

Back I came from the journey
With more vigour than ever before
All the answers that none could reply
For to reveal in front of me .
