Bleeding heart

Bleeding heart

A Poem by prema

                                      Bleeding heart

My heart bleeds,
When I think of the injustice.
I, the silent witness should have spoken
To punish an innocent
Is the most heinous crime
Didn't I foresee the outcome of the trial?
Am I not too late now?
For the final verdict is pronounced
My heart bleeds,
For the words not spoken by me.
