Three

Three

A Poem by John Preston
"

All the three's?

"

I was born in the third month
There’s two three’s and a six
Also a four, does not count
Two times three is six children

Married on the three time’s three
On the four times three month
One daughter’s birthday as mine
One daughter’s birthday just three

One son and daughter’s birthday’s
includes three, same date.

One son has just a three
My wife’s birthday has, three, three’s

I live at number three
Been married twice never three times
Now I'm free
Will it be third time lucky, maybe?

So when I depart never knowing when
I’m sure it will fall within a combination
of three’s.

I have three grandchildren

My shoe’s a nice ending with three
We have three little doggy’s
Do I have a third eye
And you are you three

Like you I also notice numbers in life John . Its fascinating - John Lennons was a nine ergo Number 9 dream. This was really interesting and humourously written.
