TODAY - TONIGHT

TODAY - TONIGHT

A Poem by John Preston

Eyes are blue
Can’t do without you
Rambling, trolling
So deep blue

Flying cats
Bats - caves upside down
Green are yours
Change not sight bound
Bright in spirit
Dancing streams beam
Flowing swirling
Tiptoes, stones beneath

Purple colour to please
Diamond to sooth a heart
Gold colour of pleasure
Glass of champagne
Silver chain kills the pain

Lady surely of leisure
Smile so at ease
Oh sweet thing
Satisfaction to have seen
Good night
Sweet dreams.
