Lovers Painting by Ulyana Linenko

first spying each other from atop watchful crow's nests
hoisting heavy anchors, raising blown sails, two ships exploring
sailing on a high tide
walking a narrow plank
wrapped in feeling ports of taught, engorged flesh
masts bobbing erect
guided by knowing moonlight, we kissed well into the fleeting night
exchanging essence of wanting limbs
fingers tracing like a passion compass
lips directing a raw, moist journey of pure desire
waves of emotions rising up and slapping against smooth hulls
reading braille maps through blind telescopes
south of the border
below the equator
wherever hot breaths carry
it never grew old
damn the cannon fire, to hell with our soul

Wowzy woooo! This was hot and intensely fiery; you do romance justice. Powerful metaphors. Are you sailing East or West?
At least you are not passing the red sea.
Excellent!

Hehehe!
Well, you are currently safe. Travel at hour own risk.
Great metaphors Pete, I love the sea, waves, anchors of love and that the sensual aspects like the waves of raw emotion … your chosen words are so clear yet so poetic to show us a beautiful love tryst.. and very cool images so clear to our own emotions!
Beautiful
Warmly
