the inevitable truth

the inevitable truth

A Poem by durzothorn

Life's inevitable truth that no matter

what we do we can never escape deaths grasp,

nor prolong what we know is inescapable.

death comes for all no matter age, race, or

belief of this world or the next.he knocks on

your door but unexpectedly will enter when

time is up. He is the judge, the lawyer, the law,

and the last shot or shock.

in the end his face is in sight and you'll no longer

fear his arrival but welcome him and know its time,

knowing everything went the way it was meant...

I really liked this a lot. It was different from the normal, runaway from death, make life last as long as you can. There was certainly truth in this piece.

There were a couple of typos so you might want to go back and check them and make sure not to use nor if there is no neither before it, it's one of those ridiculous grammatical rules lol.

Great write.
