Her Big Blue Eyes

Her Big Blue Eyes

A Poem by Breanna Ragland

I loved you

You left me

I needed you

You hated me

She was all you thought about

The way she walked

The way she talked

Her big blue eyes

Her beautiful wide smile

 She walked

And you stalked

And finally

He love for you was apparent

So you left when I told you to save it

 Now she’s yours

The way she walks

The way she talks

Her big blue eyes

And her beautiful wide smile

Did you ever stop to think?

That maybe

 It was my heart

 That was about to break

 Did you ever care?

That I loved you

That I was fair

That I needed you

So now I sit here on this bed

Hoping she’s off somewhere dead

So you can set her free

Because then you’d need me.

And wouldn't it be nice to have the one you love need you? I know I've wished this a few times myself. Another magnificent piece, I really like your writing, probably because your poems remind me of things I like to write about. (:
