Your Right

Your Right

A Poem by Breanna Ragland

How can I move on?

When I’ve hurt you so bad.

How can I feel better?

When I’ve caused you so much pain.

How can I smile?

When I know that you’re crying.

How can I be okay?

When I know you’re not.

Your right,

I don’t understand…

I can’t understand…

I’d NEVER understand.

Your right,

I’m not the best friend…

I can’t be trusted…

I’m a horrible person.

But I was really trying… I swear I was.

I just want what’s best for you.

I want to fix this… I swear I do…

But I just don’t know how.

Your right,

I don’t deserve your friendship…

I don’t deserve your kindness…

I don’t deserve you…

Your right…
