A Story by Quinn W

The first time I saw you, my heart whispered, "That's the one," I say, gazing into his chestnut eyes. I lift my hand and slide it down his white-streaked nose.
"You ready?" I ask. His head bobs up and down as he whines.
"I thought so," I reply as I grab his saddle and reins.

When did you realize it was a horse? Just curious.

Well, I blew it. I looked at barelygirl's review first. (She's my friend) I think I'd have determined it wasn't human with "white-streaked nose", however.

I honestly did not think “horse” until I saw your inquiry at the end. I wonder if “whines” might be better as “whinnies”? This might make it seem more “horse-like”!?!? Otherwise, nice way to trick & test our perceptions & assumptions (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
