Dig

Dig

A Poem by Einstein Noodle

DIG
Can you dig it?
wrenching wrist twist
core the apple dig it
would you hook
IT
would you
peal, pull,  please....
spill spread, separate the
GUT
INTESTINES of
life and
gall sensibilities with
liver bleeding lies and
TAKE
metastasized cancer ...putrefied
proliferation blitz newsies???
                                                     can you
                                                                                     dig it?

This poem speaks to me vividly of many things like cancer, E. There’s much in our societies that feels like that, the corruption, the greed and of course the newsies! Yet life itself feels like cancer to me sometimes, with it’s super deep, wide spread, far reaching tentacles into the tender muscles of the earth. Vivid and inspiring words! I loved it! 💕

Oh idk, most of us seem to just take that gut intestines of life and twist it into a slimy ball until there ain't no way to separate it.. 'liver bleeding lies' - I like that. I totally do 'dig' this piece of yours which is an achievement on my part haha ;P
Always interesting to read you, Einstein, even though I most often fall short on words :x

You are Welcome.................:)...
Amazing how the reader sees and feels perhaps what is wanted by self. In your words, I see life and all it spitfalls.. Freudian slip perhaps BUT as good or better than the pits we find ourselfves digging cos that's what fate decrees. Our hearts roam, our body rebels, minds numb or run.. whatever.. it's how it is.

' .. 'an you .. .. .. dig it?' An extrordinary bee buzz of meter and hidden intention of .. well, what you think?! Insignificant apple core to as demolished as one can get by matastasis.

I did notice one small error. I think you meant 'peel', not 'peal'.

Just sitting here loving the rhythm, loving the force of your words breaking the soil. There is a depth and a devastation that flows through each line, leading us into those darker places so timely for this season. So glad you connected your poetic thoughts to Holes... the book and movie were simply amazing... a perfect pairing!

Some time and effort has gone into crafting this. I like the retro wording and the serious points that are made. But the killer for me is how it is all wrapped in such consummate wording.
