Innocence

Innocence

A Poem by racheljaneface

I lay here alone,

You’re far away,

But not really.

My every thought consists of you,

For the past 8 months.

I lay here and tremble at the thought of you,

You are the only thing in the entire world that I want right now.

My body craves you,

In the most innocent of way,

A hand to hold,

A place to rest my head.

My mind craves you,

Our long talks,

To listen to your beating heart,

Someone to talk to about anything,

Or perhaps nothing at all.
