Twisted

Twisted

A Poem by Aiza

Your words are just the twisting
Of tongues, when it comes to this
I mean no disrespect
And I am aware of the mistakes taken as betrayal

These words I speak are not heard
By you
But I didn't expect you to listen

I will not be abandoned
I do hope you open your ears to that

If you don't believe me, ask for yourself
There is more to this story you have played yourself out
To believe

Remember that
You left me once
Don't think it will happen again
I wouldn't set myself up for same tearing pain

So the only leaving will be from you
I hope you know I'd still miss you
But all I wanted...
Was to say goodnight
