Without The Abuse

Without The Abuse

A Poem by A

I’m scared

I wont see it coming

I won’t let myself leave

Before it’s to late

I barely got out

Of their

Grasps

Barely made

It out

With any

Parts of me

Yet I see

Myself

Doing it again

Chasing

The abuse

Believing

I deserve it

That God forbid

I could be me

Without it

In the end

In this moment

Who am I?

Without

The memories

The past

The constant abuse

Internally devouring me

Who am I without it?
