Waiting for the storm to pass...

Waiting for the storm to pass...

A Poem by A

The rain falls hard
The wind sways
Back and forth
Falling down
Knocking down
Each rain drop that falls
Brings a shiver
Another deep breath
Thoughts racing
Winds rising
The heightened peak
of the storm
The eye of the hurricane
The sway of the free
Trying to be strong
Stay strong
In this uproar
In the torrential downpour
You predicted this storm
Knew you should have seemed shelter
Should have found safety
This Storm happens
Quite often
You never know
What the aftermath may contain or hold
But you know this storm
At times you
Are even believed to be the
Cause of this storm
This perfect storm
Stay strong
Little one
The end is near
The storm shall break
And you will be left to
Pick up the pieces once more
