n a bright summers day everyone’s hearts are filled with joy for a new baby has just entered the world. Everyone’s hearts that is except for his parents, theirs are filled with fear for this new baby’s life.

“This baby will be a prodigy” the midwife sings, “he will excel in all three of the magic types, and he has eyes of such a color I have never seen before.” “What will you name him?”

But she was unaware of what the father and mother were so carefully hiding with the blanket.

“Ren”, the boy’s mother says smiling

The fourth mark on his left shoulder, away from the other three so prominently displayed on his right hand, the teardrop that to them seemed to be a drop of blood foreshadowing his future.

“Ren Ashen.” His father clarified,

The curse of water.

This is very neatly presented and looks interesting. Thankfully, I found no typos which has been common for new writers. Although I'm not one for reading books, I wish you luck and I'll check gladly check out the first chapter. :)

Thank you very much for that, I wasn't sure if the layout I had arranged the quotes and comments in was easily processed by the reader. But, if it was interesting enough for you to check out the first chapter I think I can live with it.

I like the format. I also love to read fantasy so I will check out your writing. I started to write a fantasy novel that started out in a similar way. Makes me want to look back at it.
