the unfortunates of him

the unfortunates of him

A Poem by Renad.M.M

i taught you
how to love
you taught me
how to smoke

the gentle touch you place
the soft inhale you take

the curve of your lips as you blow
while the knot in my heart proceeds to grow

regrets and guilty pleasures
soft kisses and stolen letters

ash disappearing
interrupted dreaming

smashed cigarettes on the road
you told me what you liked to do

it wasnt long before i realised
the unfortunate
you're the smoker
and im the smoke

i taught you
how to love
you told me
im a smoke

this brought up some very vivid imagery in my mind. almost symbiotic in the act and the object. both bad and good like smoke :D
