![]() The Crimson Sheets of Tiffany WayA Poem by Cahjli Symes![]() its a poem from the "infected" [vampire's] point of view. I wrote this to "What's in the Ground Belongs to You by If These Trees Could Talk. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rn9SdJMMLAM <--- adds depth to poem![]() Up all night as I sleep through the Day Infected by people who thought I was prey Transfusing of iron My food for thought Drive that stake through my chest Before you depart My blood less than zero, my skin's really cold As the gatherers of old, will skin me my love Rewarded with nickels, they shower In my blood Cut off my head As they leave me For dead I hope not to choke upon the flesh of the live and the young Yet they persecute Me for the ingestion Of blood Silence The tap drips Your blood runs slow..... Now I can't hide The lust the trust the thought of you dying in my arms The days I sought to pray to God not thirsting for blood The days and nights The fights and the love If my thirst don't give in, give one last hug Goodbye to you The fond and true Memories of life As I met my end on your bed, in the middle of the night Stabbed in the heart two shots in the head She knew the urge would come along as she let me in My open mind across the sheets The splinters in my heart All dressed in white as I died before her eyes As the sun came about and I drift into dust "Serenity in death" She says she stabs Me my heart "Open your mind and find what matters inside" she cried as I left her behind © 2014 Cahjli SymesAuthor's Note
