Metaphysic Androids

Metaphysic Androids

A Poem by Cahjli Symes
"

Maryland 2022.

"
What's the point of a perfect picture?
As we're all broken figures,
While our fear eats our thoughts.
Laying numb,
Buried in the dark.

Comforted by love from a uncertain future.
Broken down from the past
Talking, eating broken glass.

Presentation: isolation.
Worshipped from alienation.
Ideals once lost,
Now sacred.
Hanging in a garden smelling
Sulfur.
Vision blurred, sight now crimson.

As the feel is reminiscent,
Feeling like there's something missing.
With a scalpel to his chest,
To the right, that's best.

Cut it out
Eat it up
Sew it back
No anesthetics.
Forever yurning for her joy
as a heartless narcoleptic.

As she twist,
He won't shout.
As the pain now brings sensation.

Feeling pleasure from her blade,
As he's doped to her sedation.
