Love Sonnet 220

Love Sonnet 220

A Poem by Reyvrex Questor Reyes

My love, I always dream of your return,
When bluish hues adorn the skies above,
And kindled hearth, with glowing embers burn
All through those blissful nights, so filled with love;

Where countless blooms would scent the wafting breeze
Across the fields and meadows of my heart,
Unlike the gusty winds in churning seas,
Of expanses that kept as far apart;

It's true, I'm on that ship that sailed away,
But bearing not my soul, which you should know,
Throughout the trip my thoughts remained to stay,
Believe me love, it's always there with you;
. . . . .It's rather me who should return back home,
. . . . . And not yourself who never went to roam.
