Love Sonnet 219

Love Sonnet 219

A Poem by Reyvrex Questor Reyes

Come, we will lie among the petals strewn,
To lit grasses aglow with love we'll share,
Beneath the turf, what's there, ask not the moon,
Let not the past give us the least of care;

The wars that passed may still have left a bone,
Or dreams of heroes all burried thereat,
Yet nary that implies we're not alone,
To sweetly bide with what our love begat;

But surely, stars keep watch at destiny,
To realize what's truly fit and prim,
Then all we have to do, is just be free,
Free from all things that bind though stars would dim;

. . . . Oh, let them squirm at seeing scenes below,
. . . . Should this be not how we're destined to go.
