A LITTLE PIECE OF PEACE

A LITTLE PIECE OF PEACE

A Poem by Robert Filos

tracinG the path of where we have been
engulfeD by the sound of the swirling wind
wherE tsunamis move competing for land
A generation of beggars walking hand in hand
frozeN hilltops they blind the eyes of man
trackS beneath the snow are hard to understand
thiS way
thaT way
rounD and round we go
lifE is more than footprints in sand you know
A story
A song
life’S not just playing in a band
it'S writing the music and lyrics people comprehend
don'T follow, the greedy corrupt hollow men
yoU should pursue truth, pursue justice
eaT your meals with the poor
bE humble and willing,
aS your Father before
