Our Formula

Our Formula

A Poem by Jay Richards

Chemistry
Biology
Physics
It's Electric.
An electric charge that flows
between us;
Thoughts, emotions, feelings
Feelings? Don't be stupid.
But I am.
I think I always will be when it comes to you;
The boy who's loved but never loves
Love? More like anger
I feel it.
When you look at me and look away;
You know I'm upset. You just know and don't speak
Speak? We just ignore
Well I do.
I turn and face away from here, from you
Hoping that for once you will say something
Something! For Christ's sake!
Can't you see?
That when you're screaming for attention,
I'm screaming right back in answer;
I'm here.
I know.
I understand.
Theories must be proven to be accepted.
